Have you ever wondered why our Malaysian LFS are in such a sorry state? Just pop into one and chances are you will find primitive, ancient, dinosour equipment left turning brown on the shelves. Hey, I want the latest Metal Halides, with 20K kelvin rating, 250 watts that hangs well on a nano tank. But sadly, I can only find them in 1 place.
Well, don't ask me. I don't know for sure. Perhaps the cost of these equipment is prohibitive. Maybe Malaysians are cheapskates, and zooms to the gizmo with the lowest price tag. (Which of course, is 1) Made in China, 2)Fail within 3 months, 3)Poison everything you your tank, 4) Which leads to a tank crash before you know it). Maybe Malaysians don't read enough, and rely on the advise of LFS. Well, LFS themselves aren't very knowledgeable except to sell you the highest value Eheims. Not that Eheims are bad, they are fantastic, but why would you want a canister filter for a marine setup?
